I tried to post a picture of the study settings of the sq. of 9's but can't figure out how to do that. Can post a chart but not the study page.

Post an image of the chart that contains only this one study. Here are the instructions:

And let us know what the 4 inputs with the Square of 9 study are set to.

Can you tell us what the symbol of the chart is.

We do not need a picture of the Study Settings window. Just the chart itself as explained here:

Even thought the sq of 9"s are set up as studies on each of the 30 min charts they don't show on the chart

Thanks for your help

Do you have the Anchor Value input for the study set appropriately based upon the prices of the chart it is on. It should be set to a value which is within the visible range of prices of the chart.

Here is an example:

Sorry to be confused about sq of 9 but the other traders in the trading room I am in all set their anchor value to 1 and the degrees to 11.25. Most of them aren't using the same version of sierra charts as each other but it doesn't seem to matter. They have the sq of 9's show on their charts. They use level 1 and auto adjust no. Under subgraphs name label check-- show horizontal align -- left edge vertical align --centered
value label-- show horizontal align-- left edge vertical align -- centered

Since I trade with them we like to keep our charts very similar. I tried setting some of my anchor values closer to the prices as show in your example but the sq's still didn't show.

When I download a new version as I did to fix the single candle chart problem does the new version automatically set the anchor values? As you can tell I don't have any background knowledge of the sq of 9's.
Thanks for your continued assistance

The Anchor Value input will be automatically set if it is 0. Therefore, set it to 0.

When I set the anchor as 0 it works on the first chart. But when using the same chart I change the symbol the anchor doesn't go back to 0 so I don't get a sq of 9 on the new chart.

I'm still confused as to why the other members of my trading room can use 1 as the anchor and get the sq of 9's. When we all set up our charts together from sierra charts I used 1 as do they and had the sq of 9's. For some reason now they don't show on my charts using 1.

A new problem this morning. So glad you are here to help.
I am not getting current data on my charts and no message log. I've never had a situation like this. My internet connection is working very well. After I close out and reload I do get a new candle showing but nothing updates real time and I get know message log.

We do not see how using 1 for the anchor value for the Square of 9 study will work. You will need to reset the Anchor Value back to 0 when changing the symbol of a chart.

For the chart updating problem, we have answered this in another thread that you started about this. We apologize for the delay.
