Hello, I've been using Sierra Charts for the past 2 months for back testing with the 26.00 USD a month plan, I noticed that the open price (at 9:30) is different from other platforms, sometimes by more than 5 cents! May I know why?.

I've checked a lot of symbols and there seems to be the same issue with all. However check $TSLA feb/3/2022 for an example. May I add that on some dates the open is the same and on others its not at all. Very strange. |

With the NASDAQ TotalView data feed, there is no official Open, High, Low, or settlement prices provided. So what you see currently, is the open at 4 AM US Eastern time for the particular symbol. And you can actually validate this, by going into Chart >> Chart Settings and enable Use Evening Session to see the data at that time.

Alright that I can understand. However, at 9:30 when the market opens, why do the open prices (at 9:30) of other platforms all match each other, but sierra is sometimes the same, and sometimes different.

There should be definitely no change with the open price if it is already a nonzero value at 9:30 AM. To the Sierra Chart server-based data feed processing, 9:30 AM has no significance. I understand your view, however if you take a look at the example I mentioned earlier, $TSLA February/3/2022 at 9:30, other platforms have a different open price than sierra.
