Hi,

I guess the title sums it up, if you put a study that plots GDI stuff on a chart, then if you try to connect to CTS you get a
"Warning: Caught an exception during the processing of a timer event. Source: c_FIXConnection::m_SendLogonMessageTimer | 2022-02-07 23:24:55.016 *" message.

Maybe some racing condition.?

I tried a very basic example with the GDIExample dll and latest Sierra build

Thanks

This must have been overlooked. We do not know the cause of this. It might be related to some specialized code in the CTS connection related to system identification using Windows WMI. We expect to remove CTS support from Sierra Chart within two months.

So that will solve the condition but you will not be able to use CTS.

We have no interest in and we will not be spending any further time on this.
