Hi,

I would like to display previous days VWAP and standard deviation levels as horizontal lines on another chart. I know that the study overlay can be used to transfer the study, but how can I only transfer the days from the day before and display them as horizontal levels?

Thanks in advance...

Have a look at using the High/Low For Time Period study Based On the Volume Weighted Average Price study. It has the ability to extend the High/Low forward. You can also overlay that on another chart.

Refer to Technical Studies Reference for the documentation for this study.

Thanks,

but that does not seem to work.
With this study it seems that it's only possible to set two levels for a time span of the current day...?

Could it be a solution to set a chart to only display yesterdays data and then use the study overlay?

I have attached a pic to illustrate what I would like to achieve.

Thanks...

One solution is to set up the source chart with a date range of only the previous day (4/26 to 4/26, for example). Then on the destination chart use the study/price overlay for each level you want to project forward, and set the "fill blanks with last value" to true. This will give what you want, and you only need to update the date of the source chart at the end of the day. This is one option.

There is a custom study ECIVWAP which was built to plot the previous days levels

@Timokrates

Hope you are doing well!

Just posted a chartbook regarding your question at the below link (you still have full access to my site):

https://www.ticinotrader.ch/extending-vwap/

The solution for me was to reference the individual lines of the VWAP study using the Study Subgraph Reference study, then calculate the last value of the individual reference lines using the Period OHLC/Variable period study and referring back 1 day or 1 week.

Hope this helps.
