We are going to be releasing version 1117 a little later this evening. See if this resolves the problem.

If not, can you let us know what particular formula gives this error so we can test it.

The spreadsheets in the non-CLR version of Sierra Chart is still under active development and could have some problems from time to time until all of the development is finalized.

We will check on this, but it would help us, if you let us know the particular formula you are using.

We cannot help with this without a formula.

This is what we found in regards to this:
All of the formulas the user posted are fine and do not give any errors in the current version. The #REF! errors must be coming from one of the referenced cells that is not visible, such as AJ3. Or there may be some circular reference among the given formulas, but I cannot tell without knowing where those formulas were located. I may need a copy of the whole spreadsheet to see where the error is coming from.

One thing we can let you know is circular references are not supported at all.

Can you provide us a simplified example spreadsheet to demonstrate this #REF! error?

Please test the very latest prerelease of Sierra Chart.

We tested your spreadsheet, and do not get any errors with it.

We have tested this again and we see the problem. We are not sure why one of our programmers did not see it. We are going to be looking into it today.

We want to update you on this. It will not be until next week that this problem will be resolved. Unfortunately the programmer assigned to this, is out until next week.

Hi, I still have some problems with the Non-CLR spreadsheet. I have used TechTraders code in the past without any problems. But now I get this error code: #REF!

It would be nice if you can fix it. Regards Outlander

(ZigZag is in column AA)
Column X =IF(AND(AA3<>AA4,AA3>0),SIGN(AA3-AA4),X4)
Next, determine the last high point.
Column Y =IF(AND(X4>0,X3<0),AA4,Y4)
Finally, determine the last low point.
Column Z =IF(AND(X4<0,X3>0),AA4,Z4)

Columns Y and Z will plot horizontal lines of the last high/low until a new high/low is determined by your zigzag criteria.
