hi, after hearing about Sierra I am very excited to switch to it but first wanted to use trial period to get first hand experience of trading through sierra. But unfortuantely after 3 or 4 days and trying different things as suggested on support board I am sill unable to get live data for stocks. I have a non professional trading account on interactive brokers and was able to connect to it but stil couldn't get live data as I see on their platform TWS. I also tried "SC Data - All Services (data)" nbut couldn't get live data. For forex (EURUSD) I am getting live data but for stocks not getting live data. By the way after reading about data quality provided by ibkr I am more inclined towards using Sierra service for obtaining realtime data. Kindly help me in fixing this issue. Kind Regards, |

The Real-Time data for stocks is not something that comes with the Sierra Chart package, you would need to pay for the data. You should be able to get the data from Interactive Brokers, just make sure you have gone through the Setup Instructions to connect to IB. The instructions are at the following link: Interactive Brokers Trading Service: Setup Instructions Also, you would need to ensure that you are setup to get the real-time data from IB as well. If you would rather get the data from us, then you would need to use the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed and enable the U.S. Equities exchange. Just note that our data feed does not include the Level 2 market depth data. We are working on a new equities data feed that will include this data, but it is not quite ready yet.
