Good evening, I need advice how I enter into the sierra chart (find symbol), the market QQQ "NASDAQ.NMS CFD / POWERSHARES QQQ TRUST SERIES" (Interactive Brokers). I tried to enter the QQQ-CFD-SMART-USD-BAAVG, but the market was not running. When I entered the ticker QQQ-S-SMART and market ran, but when I tried to execute a trade, nothing happened. I had to trade QQQ directly from TWS from Interactive Brokers, and it is quite uncomfortable. If I trade the market NQ-201406-GLOBEX and everything works well. When you try to execute a trade were there any error messages given in Trade >> Trade Service Log for that symbol. What we are trying to say, is that when you submit an order from Sierra Chart and there is some problem with it, then Trader Workstation usually will respond with an error in Sierra Chart will list this in Trade >> Trade Service Log. If there is no response from Trader Workstation, we have almost no idea what the problem would be . You really would have to rely upon Interactive Brokers support for that. QQQ-CFD-SMART-USD-BAAVG is generally the correct format. The only other thing we would suggest is to change SMART to the actual exchange code that Trader Workstation specifies for this market.
