I have multiple chart windows within the SC Main window. I have a few other windows that I frequently modify that are detached. One particular window (previously detached)( #28) became re-attached and shows in the Main SC window. Attempts to again detach this window (#28) fail. When I select #28 then use Ctrl-Alt-D, it disappears and is not returned to the detached area with other such windows. Also, it no longer displays in the MAIN window region I believe I have followed all support instructions. I am using Win 10.

Should it be Ctrl-Alt-D rather than Ctrl-Alt-Delete?

Let us know if you are having a problem with Detaching/Attaching when using Ctrl-Alt-D. If you used Ctrl-Alt-Del, then that is a special system sequence that will not do anything within Sierra Chart.
For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service:

Yes, issue is same. I did use (Ctrl-Alt-D). I can get window #28 back visible in the Main SC region by clicking "Windows", finding window #28 in the list, then clicking Ctrl-Alt-D on it. That makes it return to a visible position within the SC Main region. But I cannot move it over to the Detached region.

You could try a few things...

Is it detached but hiding behind the main Sierrachart window?

Use chart-attach/detach window on the main Sierrachart window menu to detach the window instead of Ctrl-Alt-D. Worth a shot.

Make the title bar visible on the chart window AND expand the chart window to full screen before detaching. Maybe a corner will be visible after it moves and you'll be able to adjust it & save the layout again. Maybe at least you'll be able to tell WHERE it's detaching to...

Are you using a multiple-monitor setup by any chance? If so, the window might be detaching to a location not covered by any of your screens. You may have to change the location of one of your screens using your windows display settings to find it. Right-click anywhere on your desktop, go to display settings. It's under display - if you're using multiple monitors you'll see the orientation of all the screens - you'll need to move one of them around (not the one where the main sierrachart window lives), save it, then see if the rogue chart window appears in that newly uncovered desktop space.

It's a real hassle, but once you find it you'll have to move it back to the main screen but DON'T re-attach it. Save the layout. Move your monitor configuration back to where it was, re-open the layout, THEN move the now detached and visible window to where you want it.

...or the solution is way simpler than all this and I'm making it way more complicated than necessary.

Good luck.

You could also try the 'Reset Windows' command.
