Problem with Study Stochastic-Percentile

I am using the Stochastic-Percentile Study to display relative strength of the input data.

The problem for me is how the study draws its last study value, which doesnt look like to be in sync with the underlying data.

The first raw data input value is coming from the inoffical COT study. In the end SC calculates a percentage value which i display as a percentile.

Almost always the stochastic percentile result is at one of 2 extremes of the oscilation, which cant be true.

The added screenshot should illustrate the problem

I will try to reproduce the what you observed. What were the study settings that you used? Also, what type of chart is this (daily or intraday)?

I think you are familiar with the custom "COT report study".

Here are the relevant screenshots. I think something is wrong with the COT study but i am clueless.

I am not familiar with that study. I am familiar with the Stochastic - Percentile study (in fact I documented it). I see that I have not yet done a spreadsheet test on that study. I will do so this evening.

I have added a spreadsheet test for the Stochastic - Percentile study. It works as advertised in the documentation. If there is a problem, then it is with the COT study. I am unable to help with that. Perhaps someone else is able to.

Thanks...besides that: Why exactly is SC refusing to implement an official COT study? Other platforms have that and for you guys its a childs play. Really, WHY? cant we have that?

We are not refusing. That request is on our to-do list, and it is a very long list.
