I believe I have an updating issue.

The image attached is a pop up during update (for the past few updates) regarding some issues with the file UserContributedStudies.dll

As you can tell, I have the above file in a non-default directory.

I use only one of these studies - MESA Adaptive Moving Average

Two questions:
1. Could it be this study needs updating or is there something else I can do to fix/remove this error?
2. Regardless, I want to request that the above study be included into the library of included studies - please?

Is the folder path shown in that error message, your Sierra Chart Data Files Folder?

Yes it is.

I should also mention that when I update the software on my laptop, no such error pops up. My desktop have 5 installations of Sierra Charts but only 4 have this error. All 5 installation uses the same data files folder. This is a recent issue and I have had 5 installations for months now.

All 5 installation uses the same data files folder.
This is why you are getting the error. When you update one copy of Sierra Chart, none of the copies of Sierra Chart can be running. You must exit from all of them.

If you are using the same Data Files Folder for multiple copies of Sierra Chart, we provide no support with problems encountered with that. We do not recommend doing this.

One more thing, which one is the latest version - 1110 or 1113?

Not quite sure why the Data Files Folder is being shared, but if you want to share the data, this is the recommended method to do it:
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/MultipleServices.html#Sharing

The higher the version number the newer the release.

Let me rephrase what I mean. I have both versions installed on my computer, which one is the latest version as I cannot seem to install version 1113? If 1113 is indeed the latest, I would have to more uninstalling and re-installing, etc.

Obviously version 1113 is the newer version. Refer to this help topic:

You do not need to uninstall.

Ok, in so far as and limited to only the Studies Collection saved / created by myself, they can be in the same Data Files Folder? So far, I do not have any issues with those Studies Collection.

It is OK to share study collections in this way.
