Hey there, brand new here, I spent like 2 weeks intensely customizing sierra chart soooo intensely and took alot alot of work, I would hate life if something happened and I would have to re do all that work.

What is the easiest most direct way to just have a IDENTICAL setting copy in ONE file and I can like send it to my email to store it there.. Please please send me something on the simpler side as I am not very tech savvy, and get lost very fast.

I logical tree-down instruction would really help, thakns so much, loving this new software already, will recommend to everybody!

Make a backup of the folder Sierra Chart is installed to, except the "Data" subfolder. Instructions:

What is the difference in backing up certain folders like Data, SymbolSettings, Sierra4.config, KeyboardShortcuts4.config and doing a backup as outlined in your link? Should we do both?

Thanks

No, just choose one way or another. It is mostly a personal choice on what items you want to get backed up.

The easiest is to just do all of the SierraChart main installation folder (without the Data folder) as you will get everything you need, including the backups of your Chartbooks, which is why you do not need the Data folder.
