Anybody using the CME direct ordering? How is it working? Give us some feedback.

It works very well. We would not release something, that is not 100% stable and reliable. And also fast.

Our feedback, is that it works exceptionally well. It is better than TT, CQG, Transact, Interactive Brokers, Rithmic, CTS. Everything. The only limitation is that it is just the CME Group.

So currently if we want to use CME direct it's thru Stage 5? Any others?

Can it do bracket orders? If so, are they held on CME servers?

I have a question regarding Stage5.

I am going to switch over to Stage5. They work with 5 different FCM's and thats why they wont publish an margin list, like AMP for example.
Margins get adjusted throughout the year and you are calculating the max possible position size before sending an order.

Question: Do you offer a feature that shows the current margin (intra-day and maintenance) for any contract?

Thanks

We do have access to the margin data from the CME and can provide that through Sierra Chart. But we do not know what the broker has set on a particular trading account. Although technically it could be queried but we would just show the standard margin.

How do you calculate the max order size then?

It is calculated on the server side but it is not known to the client side of Sierra Chart. That functionality could be developed to pass it through to the client/user side but it does not yet exist.

Hi SC,

I'm with Dorman using TT.
Shall I inform Dorman that I want to move to CME Direct or simply change the setting to CME Direct?

Thank you.

Has Dorman already gone live with the new Sierra_routing service?

I was under the impression it was only Advantage/Stage 5.

Thanks in advance

They are still in the process of supervision of the service and only a limited number of accounts have access to it at Dorman. This gradually will change as they add more accounts.
