First do make sure that Trade Simulation Mode is disabled: Overview of Trading: Difference between Simulated and Non-Simulated Trading Modes Submit an order and if there is a rejection, we need to see the lines in the Trade Service Log for this rejection. i figured out what the problem was. i was using the trade DOM in a different Instance. In that instance the Trade SIM mode was off but in the main instance it was still on. I have a few follow up questions: 1) It seems like each instance is not updated by changes in the main instance; for example configuration tools etc ... Is there a way to have the main chart settings populate into the individual instances or do they have to be individually updated ? 2) is there a way to detach a chart from a chartbook and still be able to view it (in the same instance) after switching to a different chartbook 3) Is there a way to change the color of the price column only on the Trade DOM without changing the Grid color on the Trade DOM graphics setting. |

1) Each Sub-Instance is it's own individual Sierra Chart environment. The only way to get configuration changes into a Sub-Instance is to copy the files to the sub-instance. Refer to the following and the section right after it: Using DTC Server for Data and Trading in Another Sierra Chart Instance: Each Sub Instance is Independent 2) You would want to use this option: Window, CB and CW Menus: Window Always Visible (Window) 3) No, there is not a setting for just the Price Ladder background color.
