I have noticed in my previous experience in Live mode with your DOM, that the cause of most of rejected orders were due to the fact that your system does not allow to place LIMIT ORDERS ABOVE/BELOW THE LAST PRICE (limit that becomes market order)

Please set an option to allow this possibility

With TT net for example this option would be very highly recommended, because there is not other way to place an order than with your software
We are traders and any rejected orders may distract attention from trading
Sometimes a little lag on price feed may generate continue rejected orders due to the fact that we place limit orders instead of market orders
90% of traders prefer to place limit orders to entry, for slippage reasons

Thanks

Sierra Chart will not rejected entered orders. The only case would be a Stop order that would immediately fill . There is an option for this in Global Settings >> Chart Trade Settings.

Kind of sounds like what you are looking for is to change the order type of behavior for the Chart DOM. Refer to step 6 here:
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/doc_ChartTrading.html#ChartDOM

We need to understand the reason for the rejection. It sounds like it is coming from the TT server. The reason for the rejection will be given in Trade >> Trade Service Log. Provide us one of the rejection lines.

We are not understanding this. Why not just enter a market order if that is what you want. You can use the Buy or Sell Market buttons on the Trade Window.

I use almost always left click because I want to enter almost always limit orders (slippage reasons)
So I'd like an option to place also market orders with left click, that originally were limit orders

When there is not any lag on data feed I am able to place a limit orders with left click, with zero problem. But in fast market (but not necessarily) we don't know if the data feed lags. So we place limit orders with the left click and these orders are sometimes rejected

This is the reasons for adding this option

Why are they getting rejected? We would like to know. It certainly is not Sierra Chart rejecting the orders unless it is a stop order and you have enabled the option to reject stop orders that would immediately fill. You can disable that option as we explained above. The answer is in the Trade >> Trade Service Log.

Please, can you confirm that IN LIVE MODE (in the DOM configuration... see below) if I place a buy limit order above the last price on DOM price ladder with the mouse , the order is filled at market and not rejected? and if I place a sell limit order below the last price on DOM price ladder with the mouse, the order is filled at market and not rejected?

I experimented this issue with the TransAct live feed
Now I tested the demo with the Rithmic service, since TTnet demo is not available
In demo this issue does not happen.
All orders are filled, but the question is still open, since I don't know if Rithmic or TTnet live feed are the same as Transact

Please reply to my previous question, since I have to fund my AMP account

Whether the order will get rejected or not by the trading server, and whether it will fill immediately or not is not known to us. We could never know such a thing. You are in a better position to answer these questions and us.

We can tell you though that the limit order will be sent by Sierra Chart and Sierra Chart will not reject it.
