1) In am using this zones.scbf input file, How can I make the colors little transparent so that info behind it, is visible.
2) If I have number at cell KF3 in zz rev line spreadsheet, how can I make the chart draw a line automatically at the number
3) I am also using zig zag study, I see that we can select yes/no on display length of zigzag, volume etc, if I want to put % change with ref to previous close at the reversal point, what should I do?

thanks
mario

Bottom of zone
Top of zone
S for Support, R for Resistance, L for level (change by color)
Normal or Strong

if that is can be done please tell me where to copy this columns in SC SPREADSHEET .. to see the zone on my chart .

(this file is made for ninjatrader so i will only can COPY the columns to SC)
best regards.

Here is a semi-automatic example of what can be done:

Put the attached files in your Sierra Chart \Data folder
Click on File >> Open Spreadsheet >> Zones input
Click on Analysis >> Zones-

Zones output-.StdyCollct is a study collection that will load the correct spreadsheet study with the correct settings.

Zones output.scwbf is a Spreadsheet Study study that will draw zones under the price graph. It references cells in Zones input.scwbf.

Zones input.scwbf is a standalone SC spreadsheet (not a study) where you paste data from your ninja file. Since you are limited to 8 zones on the spreadsheet study, copy only 8 lines of data from the file, and choose prices that surround the current price. As price moves, you'll have to copy another 8 lines surrounding the new current price.

Full automation would probably be possible using complex formulas.

1) In the Zones Output spreadsheet settings, set the Draw Styles to Trans Fill Top/Bottom, and/or change the color.

2) Put =KF3 in the row 3 cell of a spare Formula Column, then set that column's Draw Style to Line.
There are no spare Formula Columns in the Zones Output spreadsheet, so you'll need to change the Number of Formula Columns in the spreadsheet settings to something higher than the default 16.

3) Use two spare Formula Columns to calculate the %change, one for the zig and one for the zag, then set the Draw Style of each column's Draw Style to Value On High or Value On Low.
If there are no spare Formula Columns, and you change the Number Of Formula Columns setting, the existing formula column references will not move to the new columns so those formulas will have to be edited.

These are simplistic instructions. There are some caveats to overcome to make this work, especially #3.

thanks tomgilb, on question 3, I would like the zigzig line to display %change with reference to prev close at the reversal point on a intraday chart. I have enabled to yes, to display price, length, duration, and LL/HL etc. I would like it display %change also. So I put %change formula in the same spreadsheet in COLUMN BN3 AND BO3, then should I use text display study from chart or something else? using text display study i selected value on high/low but it just displays bn3 and bo3 value. At the reversal point I would like to display, % change beside the zigzag price, length, durataion and LL/HL

thanks
