Hello,

I have been successfully using the Rtihmic direct connection with the bridge setup. I am wondering about:

1- If I can use the functionality “Order Allocation to Trade Accounts” to trade a couple of Rithmic accounts with your current Rithmic setup.

2- Trade one Rithmic account and other accounts (e.g. AMP, IB, --etc).

3- If I can combine it with “Trade symbol” fucntionlity. For example , using the ES on one account but the MES on another account.

4-Finally, I wanted to check if the “Order Allocation to Trade Accounts” has any lag or does it accurately places the orders on different accounts simultaneously

Thank you

I am not sure I understand. maybe I understand that for number 1 - I can't do two Rithmic accounts.
but I can't do it for one Rithmic and one other account

A- so, I can do it for any other brokerage firm but just not using Rithmic??

B- Can this be done for two Rithmic? is it something I can get a programmer to do it? will this happen once issues with the Rithmic DTC server are solved?
- for example, I can have the two instances from SC open at the same time, each connected to one Rithmic account, but the orders are just copied from the trading chart on the main instance to the other the second instane. pls advise

A. You are thinking of it in the reverse of what it is. If you have multiple accounts under the same trading service that use the same login, then it is possible to use the Order Allocation to Trade Accounts. It does not matter what the trading service is (Rithmic, CQG, Sierra Chart Order Routing, etc.). For example, if you have 2 accounts that use Rithmic (a personal account and an IRA account) and you can access both of these accounts through the one Rithmic login that you have, then you can allocate orders to both accounts at the same time.

B. As noted above, you can do this for two Rithmic accounts assuming they are under the same login information.

Thanks, John. I understand now. I don't think I can get the two Rithmic logins under one user name. it is from two different sources. I will ask Rithmic and see.

In case, I can't do that then I have a question. can I run two Rithmic connections connected to two different instances of sierra charts at the same time? I am wondering because of this DTC Bridge server window. would running the two instances with two different Rithmic runs two of this DTC bridge sever at the same time with no issues. sorry if this is a stupid question.

You should not have any issues running two Sierra Chart installations to two different Rithmic connections. Certainly there is not an issue from the Sierra Chart side of things, and as long as you have the two installations on the same computer, then you do not need to worry about any data issues from us either.

But, there is a possibility that Rithmic could see this as two connections and limit you. That is something you would need to check with your broker(s) on. We really do not know what their rules are on this and how they manage it.

your welcome. I think a feature based on your Datafeed, for multiple accounts connection, is something to consider. for example, multiple accounts order allocation to Interactive broker, AMP, and a couple of Rethmnic connections would be a true addition and distinguish, positively, SC.

I am super interested in that, I am sure others will be. let me know if that's something that can be done. I know you are very busy with many things going on but would like to know what it takes.

The request for sending order to different brokerages has been made several times. From an initial standpoint it looks like this would be difficult to do. Certainly, it is not something we can get to any time soon as we have other priorities at the moment.

This will not come. Order allocation can only be supported on a single connection which contains multiple trading accounts.

Multiple broker support within a single instance, would only be through the Sierra Chart Order Routing Service.
