Spreadsheet across multiple Instances

Dear Sir or Madam, is it possible to use live data collected from a spreadsheet of Instance-1 within another Instance? I tried to select the spreadsheet from instance 1 when creating a spreadsheet study in instance 2, but those data was not available, like a new spreadsheet would have been opened. Though if I open the spreadsheet in instance 2 by using File->Open Spreadsheet, I am getting all that data I also have in Instance 1. Just cannot use it... I guess sharing data-folder - what maybe could work - (while still using different chartbooks) is not a good idea? |

Sub-Instances are their own entities, therefore they do not share data. The reason why you saw the Spreadsheet in Sub-Instance 2 is because the first time you instantiate a Sub-Instance, it copies all the data from the main instance. Therefore, it can look the same as the main instance. But from that point forward, the sub-instance is it's own installation and has it's own data and data files.
