When updating the platform from Help, Download..., the platform prompts me to save, and shuts down, but then nothing happens. If I restart from the icon, the platform has not been updated to the new version.

Maybe there was a problem downloading the installer or running it. The Sierra Chart Message Log will indicate this. Whatever the problem, it is going to be a system or network specific issue.

You would have to resolve it on your side. If you do not understand the meaning of the Message Log messages related to it you can ask a specifically about those. You will need to provide the Message Log. We cannot help without that.
