I currently subscribe to the 35USD per month data feed from SC that says Full CME Group (CME, CBOT, COMEX, and NYMEX) with Market Depth for Trading accounts.

There is an additional one for 4 dollars more that says Full CME Group (CME, CBOT, COMEX, and NYMEX) for Trading accounts.

Do I get better data for comex and nymex or something if I subscribe to this. The reason I ask is the volume data I use for volume profiling works perfectly for CME Globex symbols like ES or currencies. But my comex and nymex volume is horrible with symbols like GC. Will I get better data for Gold if I upgrade to something?

Here is the log from when I was messing with GC symbol trying to get it to display volume data properly.
Thanks, Sid

You do not need this:

There is an additional one for 4 dollars more that says Full CME Group (CME, CBOT, COMEX, and NYMEX) for Trading accounts.
It will make no difference since you already have this market data.

What is the exact volume problem? The volume data provided by the Sierra Chart data feed is accurate.

So we are not really sure what the problem is.

Also, the Message Log is not helpful to us in this particular case. It has been removed from the post.

I am posting a screenshot. The chart on the left is Globex and the one on the right is Nymex. See the data spikes in the volume profile. Something is wrong. It does this with all non-globex symbols.

I posted June contract for GC previously accidently. Here is the April one which has same problem. See the huge spike at 1332, I have never seen that before on a volume profile and I look at ES, Euro, Pound, Aussie, etc. charts everyday.

Nothing looks unusual with the Volume Profiles. Sierra Chart is going to produce Volume Profiles based upon the actual data.

It is not within the scope of our support to explain the nature of the futures contract data you are looking at. Every market is different.

Perhaps you want to increase the Ticks per Volume Bar setting with the Volume by Price study. Refer to the documentation for more help.
