Audible alert mute feature in Global settings settings does not work...why do I have to go to windows sound control to mute alerts in Sierra...has this mute feature been fixed in Sierra Charts yet?. Seen some posts on this from 2019.This issue just now started for the first time in weeks. Sadly It does not change anything even if I go into each chart study alert and disable each alert feature individually.

The option for Global Settings >> Mute All Alert Sounds should work for you. If you are still getting a sound then the question we have is whether it is really from an alert, especially if you have gone through all the alerts and disabled them. The indication is that there is something else happening. Let us know when you are getting this sound and we will try to help you track it down.
