is there a way to add additional studies into a subgraph?

I want to add in top band 2 extension and bottom band 2 extension so I can view some prior session data in the current session

Are you asking from a programming perspective, using ACSIL? Or are you asking how to see data from a previous period in the current one?

In the former case, it is just a matter of copying the data into the Subgraph indices for the current day.

In the latter case, we need more information on what exactly you want to do and what study you are using.

I’m using VWAP and want to see prior session deviation bands marked out in the current session. I.E prior week standard deviation 1 price point marked out in current session

We are not really sure how you are getting the VWAP for a prior session to begin with, as the built-in VWAP study in Sierra Chart does not have that capability.

But, if you want to see the VWAP value from a prior period in the current period, then we recommend using the Volume by Price study and use the following settings:
- Draw Mode: POC, VAH, VAL, VWAP Lines Only
- Volume Graph Period Type: Multiple Periods at End of Fixed Time
- Number of Periods back to Reference: 1
- Time Period Type for 'Fixed Time': Based on your needs
- Time Period Length for 'Fixed Time': Based on your needs

Set other items as needed.

This will display the VWAP value from the end of the last period into the current period.
