Hi, I have just downloaded the platform and having trouble setting up, I think I have got the wrong real time data package but not sure. I trade US stocks only and would like the real time data for all those. Also can't find how to get the charts as footprints over candles?

You have selected a Package that is used for the Futures data. Therefore, you want to change your package to either 3 or 5. Since you state that you want Footprint charts, then you would need to be on Package 5 (the footprint charts in Sierra Chart are called Numbers Bars).

In order to get the U.S. Stock data, you would need to use the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed (we have two different data feeds depending on which data you need - we are working on moving everything to the new Denali feed, but it is a work in progress), and you will want to activate the U.S. Equities exchange.

You will find the information for the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed on the following page, which also includes the Setup Instructions to follow if you want to use our data:

Just one note, the current U.S. Equities data from us does NOT include the Level 2 market depth data. We are working on a new NASDAQ interface that should be ready in a month or two that will have this data. The Level 2 data is NOT required for the Numbers Bars charts.

I have already paid for the Denali data, will this be cancelled and the difference paid into the Sierra package as I don’t want to pay for both now?

You only paid for the Denali Data Feed Fee. There is also the Exchange Fee, which you did not pay.

You can change your package at any time and the remaining service usage time on your account will be adjusted based upon the cost of the package you are changing to. If the new package is a higher-priced package, then the usage time will be reduced due to the higher price.

There is no charge for changing your Sierra Chart service package. Only your Sierra Chart account usage time ending date is adjusted.

Therefore, you will only have paid a small amount extra for the time that you had Package 11 activated.

To change your Sierra Chart Service Package, select "Help >> Account Control Panel" on the Sierra Chart program menu. On the displayed webpage, click on the "Set Service Package for Renewal" link.

In the "Available Services >> Choose Usage Time Service Package" frame, select the Service Package that you want to set your account to. Press the "Set" button.
