Hello, When using text to annotate, there are several properties available. This is a very useful feature. However the text is limited to 8 characters and this makes this great functionality useless. Can you make it so that up to 50 characters of text can be assigned to a property? |

Which text item are you referring to? The ones we think you may be referencing allow more than 8 characters, so we do not know which one it is. Please be specific. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

We still do not know what item you are referring to. The Config Name allows more than 8 characters, so that can't be it. Please give specific steps. What drawing tool are you using? Selecting TC1, TC2, or TC3, etc. does not tell us the specific field that is limited. I am using text. I put in the first letter where I want it on the chart. I right click on the text. I left click on chart drawing properties. I click on TC2 where the entire text with the fonts I selected is stored. Now the stored text in the proper format appears on the chart. This is a very useful feature. The problem is that under each vertical tab TC2, TC2 etc, sc allows only 8 characters. |

Sorry, but this still does not make any sense to us. Here is what we see: - Select Tools >> Type Text - Left-click on the chart and the option to enter text is given. - Enter a letter and select OK. - Right-click on the text and select the option for "Chart Drawing Properties". - On the window that comes up, the default tab is the Text tab. The letter we entered is shown in the big white space to the left. On the right is the selection for the Tool Configurations TC1 through TC8. At the bottom is an option to select a different Tool Configuration in the Config Num field. None of the items on this page that can be changed are limited to 8 characters. You can not change those labels. Here is a screenshot of the Type Text Properties. The only editable items are the text itself and the Config Name. What item are you referring to?
