Hello, I use Sierra charts for data and charting but I route orders through another brokerage, which is Amp Futures. I currently activated the CME with market data since I will only be trading the Micros and Minis. With this active, do I still have to have a service package that is activated and/or set for renewal? It seems to me that all of the options that are presented when I look would basically be me paying for the same thing twice. I may not be thinking about it correctly or possibly be unaware of how exactly it works and what needs to be acitve. Could you please get back to me and let me know how I should move forward so I have all of the proper feeds activated. I do have an active trading account.

Yes, the Service Package is the base Sierra Chart software. Without the Service Package, you can still use some aspects of Sierra Chart, but you can not get any new data into the system. Refer to the following for more information on "Free Mode":

We are not sure why you state this, but it may be the following that has you confused.

There are 3 aspects to the pricing, although two are combined together. The three individual pieces are the following:
- Sierra Chart Usage
- Data Feed Fee
- Exchange Fee

The Sierra Chart Usage and the Denali Exchange Data Feed Fee are packaged together in to packages 10, 11, and 12. This gives the ability to purchase those packages at a discount by purchasing multiple months up front. This fee repeats every 31 days and is due based on when you first starting using Sierra Chart. We think this is the particular item that has you confused.

The Exchange Fee is separate and is paid on the first of each month, as this goes directly to the Exchanges themselves and they work on a calendar month basis.
