Hello
Does anyone know how to attache volume by price to individual 30m bars
I know it can be done but am exhausted on which settings to use

If you are looking for a Volume by Price profile for every bar in a 30 min chart, then just set the following for your VbP Inputs:
- Volume Graph Period Type: Multiple Profiles Based on Bar Count
- Number of Bars for 'Based On Bar Count': 1

Set other inputs as desired.

ok thanks
but the'volume graph period type' will not allow
keeps reverting to 'one period of fixed time length'

Do you have a TPO profile on the chart? If so, then you only have certain options available for the Volume by Price.

but just have 30m bars
just dont know why wont keep to multiple profiles

The other area where you are limited in the selection is on the Trading DOM, but it doesn't sound like that is what you have.

Hello John

I have managed to attach vbp now to the individual bars
I reset volume to graph period to 'multiple profiles based on bar count'
dont know how
