I tried to download the Sierra Chart Software unto my computer but I got the following message " this app can not run on your computer". What do I do? My computer is window based and 64bites. Please help |

Did you really get that particular wording: "This app can not run on your computer"? Or was it something more along the lines of "Windows Protected Your PC", or "This app is not safe to install"? In these cases, there should be a link on that page for "More Info". Select that link and then you should have a button at the bottom that states "Run Anyway". Select that button to go ahead with the installation. These latter messages come up since we do not have a certificate for the installation yet. We are working on this and should have it soon. The message is exactly as posted and I need help to be able to download the Sierra Chart. Otherwise my G7FX study is stalled and I can not progress to trading.

We do not remember having had this issue before. The only thing we can think to tell you is to try and perform the installation as the Admin for the computer. To do this, just right click on the installer program (SierraChartFileDownloader) which should have been downloaded to your Downloads folder on your computer and select the option Run as Administrator.
