Spreadsheet study MEAN. how do i use this in indicators under the MA type?

HI, I would like to incorporate my spread sheet study moving average into say the CCI (commodity channel index) under the moving average type. However, there does npt seem to be a way to get the study to reference anything outside of the drop down menu. would it be possible for you to explain how this is done and if it is possible. would be a lot of work to ask for a few drop down "custom " in teh MA and the use the spreadsheet study /? any way thank you for your help I am aware that i can change it from main chart grpah to a moving eaverae etc but that doesnt help me much., thank you Date Time Of Last Edit: 2021-06-15 21:58:40

If we are understanding you correctly, you have developed your own Moving Average in a Spreadsheet and you want to use that as the Moving Average option in the CCI study. What you are wanting to do is not supported, nor would it be something that could be done, as you are wanting to tie a Spreadsheet cell to an input for a study. But, you can certainly get the result you want, by adding the CCI study and setting the Length to a value of 1 (that will essentially not give you a moving average). Then use the Spreadsheet Study that has your Moving Average in it to use your Moving Average on the CCI study. Keep in mind that the values from studies that are added to the chart are displayed in the Spreadsheet study after the calculation columns (typically starting at column AA).
