Hey, I rolled ES to the September contract. all the horizontal lines/rectangles I manually installed on my charts are gone. they only reappear if I go back to the June contract. why is this happening? how do I get the charts to look the same with the new contract?

Here's how I would do it.

First change the contract in June (F5) and then see pic...

The reason for what you are seeing is that the drawings are associated with a specific symbol for the chart. Therefore, when you rolled over, you did not update the drawings to the new symbol. Therefore, what has is suggested in Post #2 is a good way to do it, and it what you should do with each rollover.

You can also Enable the setting for Show Chart Drawings for Different Symbol, which will then show the drawings as well.
Chart Settings: Show Chart Drawings For Different Symbols (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Chart Drawings menu)
