For some reason this isnt working anymore. Im updated to newest version and tried a previous version. My alerts are working and being sent during replay. Im using accurate replay mode, i have my order attached, and have tried with service connected and disconnected. Also tried symbols from forex (eurusd, gbpusd, usdcad0 and binance (btcusdt, maticusdt) and those dont seem to make a difference. Trade simlulation is on. Ive also tried messing with the attached order changing its set up as well with no luck. What could I be missing?

We assume that you are saying that your Auto Trading system is not firing during a replay. What kind of trading system are you using? Is this a custom ACSIL trading system, a Spreadsheet, or other Sierra Chart trading system? And, are there definitely conditions being met where you should be getting the trade? Are the Alerts you mention a direct reflection of what should be orders? We are somewhat confused. The Color Background Based on Alert Condition study will not, and can not, send orders. Are you just looking for the background change and you are not seeing that, but you are getting the audible alert? Or is there something else we are missing in this? We see that at Line #2 of the list of studies (ID #18) there is a custom study that did not load properly. Is that study the one that actually places the trades based on the inputs from other studies? If so, then you would need to understand why that study is no longer there. We are still a bit confused. In the list of studies that you show in the image in post #5 there is not a "Trading System Based on Alert Condition" study listed. If the Color Background is performing the same Alert conditions, then that would be why you are getting the alert but not the trade. If we just missed something somehow and your study is there, then make sure the Alert Condition is Enabled and that the study itself is Enabled. Check over the rest of the Inputs for the study to ensure they are set correctly for what you are trying to do (send to your trade service or Simulation, etc.). I have run this many different ways. I do have the color alert and the trade based on alert running the exact same conditions. Are you saying to remove the color based alert conditions?

Are you saying to remove the color based alert conditions? No, not at all. We were just confused as we did not see the study listed. Are you getting any orders placed when you are NOT running a backtest? Is this only during the backtesting that you are having an issue? Did you check the Alert tab and ensure that the Alert is "Enabled" on that tab? No orders at all as far as i can tell backtest or otherwise that i can tell. But im unaware of how else to get the orders to process without running a backtest, so i apologize. The alert tab is enabled for all, including the trade based on alert study. I am getting an error in trade activity log "trading not allowed: reason is full recalculation.

Is there a reason for you to be on this version You really need to update to the latest version, as there have been multiple changes along the way that are making it impossible for us to help with older versions. We are curious though, as to what your Trade Service Log shows. Open that window by going to Trade >> Trade Service Log and then copy and paste the information in that window into this thread. Definitely the first thing is to get up to a current release. There are too many possibilities of things that are just not going to work that we need to avoid. Once you are on the current release, try again and see what messages you get and post them here from both the Message Log and the Trade Service Log. Here is the new version attached pic with trade log. I stopped using the new one because some of my alerts stopped working due to something in the updates. All alerts worked on older versions perfectly. In addition I have my current issue weve been over regarding the trade not being taken in the trade alert backtest study. Here is the new version attached pic with trade log. It is really impossible for us to know what has changed which is affecting the trading system. The general approach is that you need to enable detailed debugging: Study/Chart Alerts And Scanning: Log Evaluated Formula at Each Evaluation And then run a slower speed manual replay and look at the formula at each chart update.
