I have a funded and active AMP Global account with CQG and the CME bundle data paid for there. I want to use Sierra Chart for advanced features (TPO, Volume by price, numbers bars etc). I believe all I need to do is purchase package 5 for real time charting with sierra but this Denali part is very confusing. I do not plan to route trades in Sierra to AMP...I just want to real time chart futures. If package 5 is all I need and then I can feed my cqg into sierra then that's what I want to do. The denali addition I'm just confused about why I would want it or need it. I'm ready to enable my package 5 and connect cqg but before I do I want to make sure I'm doing the right thing. I definitely don't want to pay for the data feed twice (CME with AMP and CME with sierra and denali on top of that.) If would be greatly beneficial if you folks produced a set of videos showing how to setup sierra chart with folks that do or don't have brokers (at least for the major ones).

If you are getting your data from CQG, then you would just use Package 5. In case you have not found it, you would follow these instructions to connect your Sierra Chart to CQG: CQG Trading Platform Service: Setup Instructions The one thing we want you to be aware of is that all vendors have the same restrictions on accessing data from the exchanges (particularly the CME Group). So if you are connecting another system to your CQG account in order to get data and place trades, then you will have an issue getting the data also into Sierra Chart, as that would be 2 systems getting data at the same time. Be sure you check with your broker if you are going to have this kind of setup to ensure that you are not going to have an issue.
