So you can see why we are very adamant about these claims that these are just not Sierra Chart issues.

By changing some features within Sierrachart version 2258,2259,2260, the operating system of some users responds differently (more workload).

For me, version 2261+ is also better (and thank you for that) and now it works just like the 2248 version which has long been used as stable for me.... versions 2253-2258 were a disaster. It increases the system load by 10-25 percent ... for me (same computer, same studies, same charts), someone else can be without problems ....

That's just feedback....

We really do not know why this was the case yet:
versions 2253-2258 were a disaster.

It is unknown. The change we made in 2261 must be unrelated. For most users, there is not going to be any observable difference. We still have to do testing.

One thing we know, is sometimes there can be small insignificant changes, that with some user configurations becomes greatly magnified and create a significantly higher processing load. Usually a higher processing load is due to the chart drawing more frequently than it should be, and increases the graphics processing and is likely the cause of the problem.

Yes, that's exactly what I meant. In this case, it would be good to describe more on the changes within a every update in the changelog.... what has changed (that's a wish). Users would then be less groping for what happened ...

That is not going to make any difference whatsoever. There absolutely would have been nothing we would have listed which would have given any indication whatsoever of any problem. Absolutely nothing.

What the cause is unknown, and this alleged memory issue, was never a Sierra Chart issue. There was no issue to begin with.

There is just simply is nothing here convincing.

And actually, if we documented everything which is really an impossibility, then users would come to wrong conclusions. There is no way that you can possibly look at a change/addition log, and come to any accurate conclusion. If we certainly cannot, you cannot either.

And from our perspective, this issue, which primarily has to do with high CPU usage configurations, still exists. The cause has yet to even be determined. And not likely to be for a long time.

SC - Can you all check the video attached in post #21. The pivots on a daily chart appear to be redrawing/shifting. I'm trying to track down higher CPU usage than normal and thinking this may be part of it.

Note: I've noticed this from around 2248 to current version 2268
