I understand that getting the .depth files is part of the Market Depth Historical Graph function/Study I've removed all the instances of the MDHG from my Study Collections and made sure that 'Record Market Depth Data' is set to no, under the Symbol Settings for the Symbols I'm interested in. However, I'm still getting those files. And I don't want them. Right now I'm not interested in the Market Depth. What am I missing? How can I deactivate the download of those .depth files? Thank you. Make sure there are no custom studies which are specifying to use historical market depth data. Most likely not. And then just simply delete these market depth files. Also set Global Settings >> Sierra Chart Server Settings >> Support Downloading Historical Market Depth Data to No. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. If you are really not needing the Market Depth at all going forward, then you will also want to change the Exchange you have active for the Denali Exchange Data Feed. To do this, follow these steps: - As soon as you can and before the end of the month, go to the following page and select the "Deactivate" button for the Full CME Group with Market Depth exchange that you currently have active. This will stop the exchange from automatically renewing on the first of next month, but you will continue to get the data through the remainder of this month. https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=DenaliDataFeed - On June 1, 2021, go the following page (it's the same page) and activate the exchange(s) that you want. All right John, I think I'll do that. But I wouldn't want to lose any other functionality. Am I right in assuming that I will lose aswell the extra levels of the DOM? But I still be able to enter orders throught it? I use the NB + NBCV, aside of other studies. And I definitely want to keep them. What I could prescind of is the knowledge of the resting orders. By the time being. I will not lose nothing else, right? Thank you. |

If you change the exchange to one without depth data, then you will also lose the extra levels on the DOM. If you still need those, then do not change your exchange selection. Numbers Bars and Numbers Bars Calculated Values will not be affected, except for a few of the Pulling/Stacking subgraphs in the Numbers Bars Calculated Values 2 study. I deactivated the renewal of the Full CME Group with Market Depth but still getting data with full depth. Weird. I'm waiting the data to stop to activate the Full CME without market depth, but ... Could you please confirm that I did it properly or tell when will the data stop coming? it's 7AM in EU. Or may be I'm not understanding the process? Thank you |

You correctly deactivated the exchange with the Market Depth. Now you need to go ahead and activate the exchange without the Market Depth in order to get your real-time data again.
