Hi,

I have been noticing my DOM numbers freezing up every couple seconds. I checked the heartbeat data and it does show a spike in numberofoutstandingsendbuffer and transmissiondelayinmilliseconds.

example would be this one
SC Data - All Services | Heartbeat from server | ServerReceivedClientHeartbeatSecondsAgo=9, NumberOfOutstandingSendBuffers=24, TransmissionDelayInMilliseconds=500, ServerSendBufferSizeInBytes=73662, ActualMessageDelay=5.4 seconds, DataCompRatio=2.01, UncompressedBytes=106680134, CompressionTime=0.785310(secs), NumCompressions=112688 | 2021-05-14 10:19:13.173

Would you be able to tell me if this is a sierra server issue. Experiencing this for the past 2 days.

I've sent the message log for review.

Thanks

Yet another Comcast in California very poor network connectivity issue. It is so consistent. Comcast in California. Every time one of these comes up.

There should be a class-action lawsuit against Comcast in California for providing substandard Internet service. From what we understand, they have a monopoly in some areas and you do not have a choice. otherwise, find a different ISP.

Some lawyer should take them to court.

Yes this is definitely a problem:
NumberOfOutstandingSendBuffers=24

The TCP acknowledgment packets are not getting through to our server which is the cause of this. So what happens, is that at the operating system level on our server, the TCP protocol, stops the data flow.

Another explanation is that the return packets, on the particular port we are using, could be interpreted as being malicious by them, and they are just filtering them out. But still they are degrading the service. Comcast is incompetent in this regard.
