Hello,

All my SC is set up using the Global Graphic Settings for every charts.
I just want to make a few changes to some charts so I would like to copy my Global Graphic Settings to those charts, then uncheck use Global Settings and then make my changes.
How can I do this?

Thank you

Sorry, but there is no support to do this. You just have to modify the Chart Graphics Settings to be the way you want.

Would you consider adding this feature? Even if it requires to copy/rename/paste some files in SC directory there's no problem of course.
My Global Graphics Settings are fully customized and it would take really long time to copy by hand every single setting to the chart only to make 1 or 2 modifications, not to mention that maintaining later identical charts in my Chartbooks with only a few modifications on some will be much more easy it there's the possibility to transfer settings from global to particular chart.
IMHO that's a no brainer feature that SC should have.

I just saw that there's a Save/Load Settings in the Global Setting dialog, just adding that same box to the Chart Graphic Setting would brilliantly solve the problem ! I am not a strong programmer but as the 2 dialog boxes for Global and Chart Settings seems to be the exact same that shouldn't be too hard to implement, isn't it?

Nothing is ever as simple as it should be. But we do understand the request. Still, we can't say if/when we will be able to get to it.

+1

Settings templates would be really great. I'm ready to help coding an external tool for this.
