Hello Support,
I want to start trading with US equities.
I have read that the only broker available to interface Sierra Chart is IB; currently i have Denali Data Feed for futures and SC EXchange Data Feed for US Stocks (in sim mode)
Therefore I have some questions to ask you:
1) since I already have a subscription with SC Exhange data Feed, do I also have to subscribe with IB data feed to be able to trade in real the US stocks?
2) If yes number 1) am I forced to trade IB data and lose all SC data?
3) I have read that it includes: Server Managed OCO and Served Managed Bracket Orders, but at the same time you recommend disabling these options, so I am a bit confused. Can I safely manage OCO and bracket orders directly from SIerra Chart?

1. No, you do not need to subscribe to the IB data to trade from Sierra Chart.

2. See above.

3. It depends on where you saw the recommendation to disable "Server Managed OCO/Bracket Orders".

In reference to IB specifically, refer to the following:
Interactive Brokers Trading Service: What is Included
For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service:

As it states in there, it is an option. You will have to decide how you want to handle the server side orders with IB. In the end, you will just have to try it and see how it works for you and make your own decision.

Hello Support,

I opened and funded an account with IB.

In order to trade us stocks via Interactive Brokers, I need to install two copies of SC or simply start other instance using file--> new instance?
And again, regarding symbols, I suppose I have to use those from IB, it's correct?
Thanks in advance

If you have a connection to a different broker than IB already existing and you are looking to add IB for your stock trading, then we recommend installing a second installation of Sierra Chart. The existing one stays as it is and connects to your existing futures trading account, and the other installation to connect to IB.

Refer to the following for instructions on how to install a second copy of Sierra Chart for this purpose:
Using Multiple Data and Trading Services at the Same Time: Step-By-Step Instructions to Install Multiple Copies of Sierra Chart

There is no extra cost to have this setup and it is going to be the most efficient.

In terms of symbols, you will need to use the IB symbols.

Thanks for the prompt reply, the procedure is a bit complex for me, please be patient.
My goal is to keep the connection with my broker (Dorman) for futures trading with SC data and at the same time, add IB for stock trading, always keeping SC data.
So, I don't understand if I have to follow the instructions indicated in point 8 "Using DTC Server for Data and Trading in Another Sierra Chart Instancee", and then "Instructions For Sharing Data Between Separate Installed Instances"(Using DTC Server for Data and Trading in Another Sierra Chart Instance: Using DTC Server for Data and Trading in Another Sierra Chart Instance)

No, you do not need to follow those instructions. Just the one for installing a second version, which is this one:
Using Multiple Data and Trading Services at the Same Time: Step-By-Step Instructions to Install Multiple Copies of Sierra Chart

After you do the above, then you would start your second installation and follow these instructions to connect that installation to IB:
Interactive Brokers Trading Service: Setup Instructions

That is all.

Thanks Support, to seems work correctly.
Just a question:
since TWS sucks up a lot of computer memory, I ask you: in order to receive data and be able to trade, does the TWS always have to be running at the same time of SC?
