Just wondering... is it possible to insert commenting in Alert Condition criteria formulas in order to be more explanatory about what is going on in an more complex formula? you know, like in proper coding practice? #comment, etc.?

This is not supported. We have it on our list of items to do someday, but we do not know when we might be able to get to it.
