Dear Support,

I have a simple question albeit remedial.

Is there a way to only calculate one row 3 in a spreadsheet.

Thank You for your Support

Tom,

Thank you - that worked however in the spreadsheet however it still draws on the chart.

Anyway to stop that and only draw one bar?

Thank You for your Support

Post #2 is a possible suggestion.

If you are using the Sierra Chart Spreadsheet study, you can reduce the number of rows outputted with the Number of Rows input, but the minimum is 10.

Thank You Support,

Unfortunately i need to use all the rows in other calculations and then combine drawing all but the last row and drawing only the last row from another column.

Thank you for your support

Set the Draw Styles to Ignore or Hidden of all unwanted spreadsheet columns/subgraphs.

If another study is drawing something unwanted, either check Hide Study or set its Draw Styles.

Tom,

I very grateful for your input.

Probably trying to do too much only drawing one cell of a spreadsheet.

The calcs only populate that one row now however still draws all cells as if they are filled.

Trying to just draw one and only one cell without all the others in past drawing.

Then overlaying another study for all other periods.

Thank you for your support.

The formula I offered will only draw in the current bar.

Have you done a Recalculate since you entered the formula in row 3?

The formula I offered won't draw anything earlier than the current bar, so what you see is coming from either another column in the spreadsheet, or from another study.

Tom,

I re-built a fresh chartbook and spreadsheet.

Put the study in and then tried this formula to move and use just the last value.

Does it work OK?

Remember, the formula must go in a row 3 cell of a Formula Column, K-Z...BR, relative to the Number of Formula Columns set in the study settings, 16 to 60.

Tom,

i understand that the formula must go in row3 in the column i am trying to chart which it is.

It still draws every row in spreadsheet when all i am trying to draw Y3 which is where your column draws.

Sincerely

Jim
