I am using OEC (ATC Brokers) as my futures broker, so I set the config to "Open E Cry FIX/Fast" and I'm doing simulated trading on the chart, which I love. ATC Brokers did authorize Sierra Charts. But when I open the account balance info, I'm not seeing any of the account info from my broker. So I'm thinking when I am trading simulated on the chart it must be Sierra Charts simulated trading and maybe my OEC connection is not working? Help.

I have the username, password, and trade account in the config exactly as ATC Brokers (OEC) set it up for me. The reason this matters now is because when I get ready to flip the switch to real money, I need to have this set connected properly to OEC.

We still have to add the OEC Account Balance information on the new FIX connection.

To make sure the orders go to OEC, disable trade simulation mode:

I disabled trade simulation as you instructed. But now when I open Sierra Charts, it keeps trying to connect and cannot. I think you need the log, which is pasted below:

Okay, now it is connected to data again, but I don't see whether it is connected to my OEC account. Wait, at the top of the chart I see "Sierra Chart 1099 CEM 1.cht Open E Cry FIX/FAST 2014-03-04" so it is apparently connect to OEC. But when I open up the OEC demo account, there is no balance. It is all blank, but OEC has a demo balance in there for me.

If you want trade orders to go to the OEC simulation account, then you need to set the Server in Global Settings >>Data/Trade Service Settings to sim.openecry.com.

However, your broker will need to provide you a Username and Password for the simulation server. Please contact them about that.

And at this time, Sierra Chart does not support the OEC Account Balance data, so you will not see it in Sierra Chart.
