Go to the Windows Task Manager and see if you see the SierraChart_64 process running.

It looks like you have two different installations of Sierra Chart. Go to the folder for one of the instances and see if you can launch Sierra Chart directly from there. You will need to run the file named SierraChart_64.exe. You may not see the .exe extension unless you have the extensions showing for your folders.

If you do not have a problem running the software directly, then you can copy and paste a Shortcut for the executable on your Desktop to launch it that way.

I already did this. Result: ZERO! It does not launch! So I guess, a remote desktop help would be best....

John, I am sure that this is again a "special" problem- like it has been last time. A non common file error- if you remember! So please, give me a call and solve my problem, As I already lost another day...

Talked with customer and they were not able to launch Sierra Chart. Found that the customer had switched the option to Enable "OpenGL".

Got the customers Sierra4.config file and was not able to reproduce the issue, but was able to deselect the option for "OpenGL" and then upload the file back.

The customer is now fine, although they have been informed not to enable "OpenGL" until we know what caused the issue.
