This is probably the 5th time a stop order has been ignored I’ve lost about 3000-4000 total now because of this.

This time I lost $470. Price just blew past my order and stop. Nothing happen. Then 10 seconds later they both register and I lost $470.

I was in a trade with a stop and I was up $70 I clicked flatten. The stop is removed and the order is not closed and it falls and I lost $110.

You guys are usually quick to push the blame so let’s start here.

1. This has never happened with another platform using the same routing source and I’ve been trading since 2012.

2. Please don’t tell me “that’s impossible that’s now how flatten works”. I know what happen. I did not click cancel I clicked flatten.

3. You are going to say you’re just the little guy! Take it up with cqg or Cme.

Basically retail traders get fucked and have to say oh well! I’m paying for a platform and it fails and I get punished.

@user339484 may I ask you who is the borker and the routing order provider? I'm in pause of auto trading aftert the TT outage trying to understand what can I use to trade eurex via Sc brakets orders and what is happening to you (it never happened to me wiht SC/TT/AMP to be clear) it's very interesting.

Got it! This could be the same situation for me since I was on SC/TT/AMP everything was fine but now I did not connect through CQG because of brakets orders not on serve side but mnaged locally. I don't know if it that's the case but I think the issue is on the CQG web API reasons for why I'm looking fro another routing order/broker solution.

Analyzing this is very straightforward. You need to look at the Trade Activity Log:
Trade Activity Log: Viewing Historical Trade Activity

You have the date and time of every event of the order. You need to see if the Status of the order was Open at the time you expected it to fill. It should have been in an Open state. You need to look at the Order Type and the price or prices of the order.

You have all of the data and you can analyze this.

Maybe it was a Stop-Limit order. If so, you need to look at what the Limit price was. Maybe there was a delayed reporting of the fill from CQG.

You have all of the information you need in the Trade Activity Log to determine what the issue is. It is appreciated to be self-sufficient here and look at what happened. We provide a very detailed Trade Activity Log for you to know exactly what has happened.

I was in a trade with a stop and I was up $70 I clicked flatten. The stop is removed and the order is not closed and it falls and I lost $110.
Regarding this, refer to:
Basic Trading and the Trade Window: Rejected Market Order When Using Flatten or Reverse Because of Position Limit Exceeded

Once again, you can use the Trade Activity Log and see exactly what has happened. You know what you did and you possess the information. We do not. We do not want to get into the middle of this. You need to help yourself by looking at the data. If you have further questions, ask your broker.
