Please, is it possible to have two volume profiles?
- one for current session
- another for current period within the session (to go with own column/standard profile on TPO)

If it's not possible

Right now, I have this (attached)
- it doesn't seem to reset for each period.
- My drawing labels on right edge of screen cover it up.

Thank you for your help!

What you have done is correct in order to get the latest 30 minute Volume by Price profile.

If you also want to add the Current Session, then you would want to make sure you follow these instructions:
Volume By Price Study: Right Aligning Volume Profiles with Space on Right Side of Chart

Thank you, John.

Please,

what can I change to have the 30 min volume profile reset and start over at begin of every 30 min period?

Also, have it in main chart like my session one in main screen area. (Not aligned it to right of chart?)

Its ok if it's not possible. Just want to be sure.

What you have selected will always give you the most recent 30 minutes. As time goes on, the new trades are added and the ones that are then over 30 minutes old are removed. So it's a rolling 30 minute window.

If you wanted to get a static 30 minute view, then you would need to specify the Start and End Times, but then you would need to continuously update it as you wanted to see a new period.

There is no way to get the Volume by Price for a special period within the main graph along with the TPO profiles. You can get the Volume by Price that is associated with the same time frame as the TPO, but that is the only one. Other VbPs have to go to the side.

John

Can I use custom intraday sessions to this end (getting clean reset vbp for each letter)?

What I am trying to get at is.. To easily spot visually, volume tappering down as 30 min pushes up or down into some level.. Grateful for any tips, alternate suggestions and such..

The easiest way to do what you are asking is to use the Draw Volume Profile tool. You can draw the end time in the fill area on the right out to the future time you would want it to end, so you would get a specific window of time in each VbP. Refer to the following:
Volume By Price Study: Draw Volume Profile

Since I am using TPO in my chart already..using Split profile on every half hour..
Good enough.
But if you can think of anything else that might help (basically like clean easy chart to watch)..grateful for any further suggestions.

Short of making your TPO charts 30 minutes each, there is not much else we can do. What you are looking is a new feature that we would have to add support for. And truthfully, we are just very very busy right now, so it's not something that we can get to.

I understand, John. No worries.
Was just hoping to luck out, if you remembered any other way someone else found to work (short of new feature).
Thank you again!
