Volume profile (volume per price) on daily bars

Hello, I am in free trial and trying to set up the volume profile/ volume per price study on daily bars for stocks. I have followed the step by step documentation and especially ensured that (1) tick data was selected in data service setting and (2) played with the tick size both in chart settings and the volume per price settings “ticks per volume bar”. I manage to graph properly the volume profile with settings “Volume Bar calc method” defined as “total volume” but I cannot get it to work with “Ask volume – Bid volume”. My question is, is it impossible to display “ask volume-bid volume” volume profile for daily bars when in free trial, or did I miss something else? Thanks, |

You would have to make sure that when you select a daily chart that the Chart Data Type is either Intraday or Intraday Chart Only. Refer to the information here: Chart Settings: Chart Data Type (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Data Limiting >> Date Range and Limiting Method menu) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
