I have a single Volume By Price study set to display for all bars of the chart. It is right aligned and it appears adjacent to the price scale. Now, using "lock file space" setting and "number of forward columns" settings I am unable to find a way to display my price candles to end just before the start of the VBP study graphic. I can do it to some extent but it is not consistent when I try a combination of: 1) BarPeriodType change 2) BarPeriodSetting change 3) Bar spacing change using control+mousewheel. Especially with the #3 above, the relative location of the last candle bar moves left and right as I adjust the bar spacing. I would like to know of a way to always end the last candle bar at a location relative to the window width. You are using the columns as your basis for lock fill space. The users probably care more about how much absolute space in pixels they want to leave to the right of the last candle in the chart. Is this easy to solve? Thanks. |

Another option is to provide a way to fire my custom study each time I change my bar spacing. Currently, I am doing this on a NASDAQ stock chart and I don't have real-time data service. Also, I don't need the service because delayed data is sufficient for me. Since there is no data coming in tick by tick, I am unable to find a way to trigger my custom study to adjust the fill space. Reloading chart each time I change my bar spacing is an option but takes a while because my days to load setting is at 500 for the chart. I hope you can find a way to allow this. Thanks. |
