Greetings.

I had to switch to using order routign CQG because of the TT damage, but today I realized that the orders are not reflected in the Web Trading Panel. Is this going to be like this while using CQG order routing?

I appreciate your help.

Yes this is true until our direct CME order routing is available for the Sierra Chart Order Routing Service.

OK I understand, I will look forward to the order routing of SC. I wish you success in developing the order routing and hope it will be available soon.

Thank you for your attention.

JCGO, if your concern is having access to your orders outside of SC, you can download CQG's mobile app and execute from there. I've tested it multiple times. It works well.

Yes, what happens is that with the CQG application there is the order, but not the target or the stop, only the order, also it does not allow the application and the data to be connected at the same time.

With SC's Web Trading Panel, if my internet connection fails or there is an electrical failure, the targer and stop remain in effect next to the server.

Anyway, I appreciate your comment.

I understand your scenario completely. :)

Here's why I addressed it:

1. You send parent order with bracket (take profit and stop hypothetically).
2. Parent does not fill. You have a power outage. Parent is still on server.
3. While power outage occurs, parent fills, but since brackets are locally managed, they go away (no stop protection!).
4. You'd be able to: a) call AMP, or b) use CQG's mobile app to get out of your position, or at the very least, set a stop.

So, with TTFix, brackets were SERVER held; so it's the routing, not the Web Trading Panel that is holding your bracket orders in the case of TT (cancelled for AMP). CQG Web API routing, with Denali DATA does not store BRACKETS (not to be confused with OCO in this case) at the time of order entry, on the server. Anyways, appreciate the kind response. Hopefully this clarifies it for you. Just trying to help a bit :) CQG mobile app because you're using CQG routing, NOT it's shitty data, isn't live updated symbol data, but the account information and position is live and up to date and it will allow you to immediately set stop protection in the event of the scenario above. Cheers!

Edit: on another post, Sierra Chart Engineering has stated they are going to look again short term at whether CQG's Web API can reliably hold brackets.

Thanks for your time and explanation, everything is clear to me.

I will use the application in an emergency, it will serve to flatten the position in case that for some reason I lose the connection from SC on my computer.

Have a good night.

With the huge support burden we have on the support board, primarily related to CME market data policy, this sets us back.

This will get done but it is going to take longer.
