Basic Trend line and Retracement positioning and anchoring - problem

Hi
I have several separate chart open. On most of them I can draw trendlines and snap them to highs/low ok, and if I adjust them, one end stays anchored to where it was snapped, which is what I want.
However on one or two of my charts, this doesn't work. The trendline will snap to the high/low, but when I try to adjust it, it moves away from where it was anchored.
Not only that but I am unable to position the trendline where I want it before I snap it.
The same problems occur with price retracements on these charts.

In Chart Drawing Properties, the Anchor values of these 'rogue lines' appear to be some kind of round number, rather than the actual chart value of the high or low.

I have searched to see if this problem has been reported but can't find anything similar.
Using Debut Video Capture software I have made a video screen capture showing how all this happens, with my voice commentary.
May I send you the video by email (or by some other means)? It's 2Mb .avi format. I use VLC media player to view it.
Thank you for your attention.
Glenn

First check to make sure that the Tick Size in Chart >> Chart Settings is set correctly.

And also disable Chart >> Chart Settings >> Advanced Settings >> Adjust Tool Values to Tick Size.

Thank you. That seems to have worked.

(However I'm not sure why those altered fields were wrong in the first place.

Other charts that already work ok still have your second suggestion enabled.
Tick Size appears to vary with Bar period, presumably on default settings because I've never alter the tick size on any chart.)

Unless you wish to discuss further, I'm happy now. Thank you again.
