as it seems, the EU is excluding residents from being able to trade with IBUK and compelling them to transfer their accounts to IBCE. Will this have any effect on SC? Just a note for anybody, but the FX will no longer be available like in the UK and the metals futures are being banned for EU residents.

You can trade forex via CFDs instead of spot, it's basically the same (spread, commissions). Not sure about IBCE but you can trade metals futures from IBIE (Ireland).

I asked the similar question about IB-Brexit and the SC's answer was:
This is all completely irrelevant to us. There are no changes with Interactive Brokers in this regard and will not be.
