Chart using SC data feed (from remote instance) and T&S from IB data feed

SC Support I have just upgraded from version 1077 to version 1097 and I realized that with this version I can’t have anymore a chart using SC data feed (from a remote instance) with Time and Sales data from my broker (IB). Before, to achieve this I had the chart set to use the “Trade and Current Quote Symbol” from IB. Now it is not working anymore, it just shows T&S data from SC data feed. This is an extremely important issue for me because an important part of my strategies are based on tracking IB’s T&S volume. I even had to order a custom study that was created for me just to track IB T&S volume. So, please, would you inform me how I can have a chart working with SC data feed and using T&S data from IB again? Thanks in advance. |

We have thought about how to solve this, and we will implement again the option Use Non-Chart Data from Remote Instances in the next release. This is the option which relates to this. Without going into details, the implementation will have to be a little different, to solve the problem that existed when not using it. Hello SC Engineering, I saw today's version 1098 Pre-Release and installed it. However, despite version 1098 having again the "Use Non-Chart Data From Remote Instances" option available it is not working - the charts that are using remote instance data feed are still always just showing the T&S data from that same remote instance data feed, no matter if the option "Use Non-Chart Data From Remote Instances" is checked or not. As I explained before I really need to have these charts using SC data feed but with IB's T&S data. Would you please check this out and fix it? Thanks. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2014-02-28 13:23:01
