Are Denali users who switched from TT to CQG order routing still able to enter orders through Sierra Chart's web based interface?

Perhaps something needs to be reset since for me, the symbols loaded still suggest TT symbols (ESH21_FUT_CME etc.).

This is important since CQG routing does not support SERVER side held bracket (attached) orders and I would like a means to cancel them myself (without having to contact AMP) in the event of a local client interruption of data (power outage, ISP interruption etc.). Thanks

1. No. The web-based interface is not setup to work with CQG.

2. Select Edit >> Translate Symbols to Current Service
For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service:

I'm referring to the symbols loaded in the web interface. I've got CQG routing up and running on SC as per generic instructions. Would deeply appreciate the web-based interface getting setup for CQG routing soon due to reasons outlined above. Thanks John.

Actually, apparently I can download a CQG app and manage orders from there... I'll have to check that out. Edit: confirmed. The CQG mobile app is quite good. I'm looking forward to CQG FIX, which will have server side bracket orders as per Sierra Chart Engineering. This is a GOOD solution, as TTFIX had no mobile solution except Sierra's rudimentary web interface, which I appreciated, but was definitely behind the times. Thanks again.

Is CQG routing slower than TT?

Support for the web-based trading will be coming later with the Sierra Chart order routing service supporting CQG.

Is CQG routing slower than TT?
We do not know. We have heard that what we offer with the Sierra Chart order routing service is faster but we do not have any direct knowledge of that.

Support for the web-based trading will be coming later with the Sierra Chart order routing service supporting CQG.

CQG has a very nice app for users with a CQG login. It is very current in design and user friendly. The only potential advantage I see in SC creating the web-based trading later with CQG FIX implementation is allowing concurrent connections. But even then, in the case of emergency order management, I'd prefer to use CQG's app. Just pointing it out as it could save SC valuable engineering time, time that could be spent better on other projects. :)

Edit: apologies, unless I'm using their data plan, it is not a good solution since the app requires data to work in real-time. However, it does give me order history, margins etc.. And I plan on using Denali for data. Sierra Chart's web-based order entry is still a must for users using Denali (data) and CQG (routing).

Edit 2: CQG's app actually does allow me to close open positions easily. Initially, when I entered orders from Sierra Chart, the orders weren't showing up in CQG's app (both unfilled and filled orders). I've been testing this, and they now are showing up immediately in CQG's app. The CQG app is now a perfectly good solution to having access to orders in emergency situations.

CQG cannot be that slow. Maybe there is some other cause. Would be good to refer to this information:

As we said CQG cannot be that slow. Check the Chart Update Interval setting:
Chart Settings: Chart Update Interval in Milliseconds (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Display >> Chart Update Interval menu)

And there may also be better performance once we use the direct CQG FIX connection when we have that set up through the Sierra Chart Order Routing Service.

We have suspected/wondered if the Web API configuration, may create additional overhead/delays. But we really do not know.
