Hi,

I just switched over to cqg from TT because of the meltdown. My broker is AMP.

My main priority in trading is fast and accurate Limit order data. I was very pleased with how this data functioned previously with the Denali/TT/SC_routing setup.

My early impression with CQG are not great, i am still comparing the data versus the old setup, but i can see some minor differences.

Given that my priority is Liquidity data, would it be advisable for me to switch BROKER and keep the old denali/tt/SC_order setup? I have no issues changing from AMP, also because it seems they are the only broker who has stopped trading on cme.

Please advice and i would appreciate a recommendation of other broker as well.

Thank in advance.

You should not be seeing any difference in the data feed, as you have not changed this. You should still be getting your data from the Denali Exchange Data Feed, unless you set the option for Allow Support for Sierra Chart Data Feeds to No.
For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service:

John,

The geniuses at amp had an incorrect form which didn't allow you to keep denali as data, essentially forcing a switch to cqg data. This is why my data is different now.

I am currently on hold to switch the data back to denali and keep only the cqg routing.

It is truly amateur hour over at AMP.

In your particular case, AMP does not have the ability to change you over to CQG data. They may have set you up to receive CQG data, but as long as you have the option for Allow Support for Sierra Chart Data Feeds set to Yes, then you will be receiving the Denali Exchange Data Feed, as you are still setup to use this.

Let us know the status of the setting above, and also look and see if you have the [M] after the symbol in the Chart Header.

John,

Thanks for your reply.

Currently my setting is set to YES and i am seeing the [M] which indicates i am back on denali. Still waiting on AMP to remove the CQG data to avoid the billing.

Thanks again,
N
