Hi I HAVE A COUPLE OF QUESTIONS....Can I still place trades with delayed data? Is the mini S&P 500 only available on CME? because of the current issues regarding TT routing service is it really worth using the CME
now because most of my trading is done on the S&P 500.

Regards

Chris Jude

PS. Sorry if these questions have answers on the support board just unable to find them.

It is possible to place trades even though you have the delayed data, but this is certainly not a recommended scenario.

We do not understand what you are asking about in terms of data. The E-Mini S&P 500 is a CME Group future. It is not something you can find elsewhere. Or are you referring to trading Stocks?

Hi John thanks for answering.
No it's ok i just wondered if S&P 500 was also on CBOT or one of the others..but you've answered that question.
It's just that because of the problems with TT order routing i can't trade the S&P 500 because AMP have have stopped taken orders for the CME at the moment.

The other thing I've noticed is that when I recently asked why I was only receiving delayed data for 10yr treasury note I was told I didn't have CBOT.
But having looked at my Sierra Chart account I have service package 5 advanced which is full CME, CBOT etc?

The Service Package does not determine which data you receive. That is determined by the Exchanges that you activate on the data feed.

In your case, you had originally selected the CME with Market Depth for nonprofessional Trading accounts. This is just the CME exchange, not the CME Group. That is why you needed to also add the CBOT exchange.

We see that you opted for the Full CME Group (CME, CBOT, COMEX, NYMEX) with Market Depth for nonprofessional Trading accounts exchange, which includes all of the CME Group, so you now have access to the Real-Time data for all symbols that are traded on the CME Group of exchanges.

Sorry just trying to get my head around it all.
So if I want CBOT & NYMEX (for crude oil wti, I will have to get them separately from the Denali exchange data feed?

Again, there are multiple options available in order to allow for you to have the lowest cost without having to pay for things you do not need.

Also, so you are fully aware, right now, you have the Full CME Group (CME, CBOT, COMEX, NYMEX) with Market Depth for nonprofessional Trading accounts exchange active. As such, you have access to all the symbols on the CME Group. You are paying $31.20 per month for this. If this is fine for you, then you do not need to do anything further.

But, if you want to see if there is another option that could save you some money, then we would need to know what symbols you want to track/trade from the CME Group. If you can tell us this, then we can tell you the optimum way to setup the exchanges for the least cost.

So it would be Mini S&P 500, US 10yr treasury note and WTI light sweet crude oil those are the only 3 I really track/trade.

The E-Mini S&P 500 (ES) is traded on the CME exchange.

The US 10 Year Treasury Note (ZN) is traded on the CBOT exchange.

WTI Light Sweet Crude Oil (CL) is traded on the NYMEX exchange.

Therefore, what you have now is the best option. If there were 2 or less exchanges involved, then you could save about $10.00, but once you get to 3, it is best to use the Full CME Group.

The only other option you have would be if you do not need the Market Depth Data. If that were the case, then you could switch to the "Full CME Group (CME, CBOT, COMEX, NYMEX) for nonprofessional Trading accounts". Otherwise, just keep things as they are now.
